The ILP Vegetable Expert Committee
The ILP Vegetable Expert Committee consists of 7 independent experts who are fully independent with expertise in the field of:
- intellectual property rights
- business economics
- vegetable seed market
- plant science
- accountancy
The independent experts, appointed by the General Meeting of the association, are from different nationalities (USA, United Kingdom, Germany and The Netherlands). For each case the group of independent experts is divided in an initial board and an objection board. Members involved in a Baseball Procedure may file a request for revision against the decision of the initial board. The objection board shall solely perform a formal review of the baseball procedure but shall not revisit the substantive facts of the decision of the initial board.
